The New MAC-12-AC is a 96 volt vehicle capable of transporting up to 13 passengers. With the regenerative braking you’ll stop without touching your brakes. If you need additional braking for steep declines, you’ll be happy to know that this mantrip has heavy duty front and rear enclosed wet disk brakes, which keep them out of the coal dust, providing low maintenance. “Under the hood” of this large transporter is a 10 HP brushless AC motor which efficiently uses the 96 volts to travel up to 10 miles per charge. Like other Damascus vehicles, the motor of MAC-12-AC also mounts directly to the double reduction rear end. Optional upgrades include electric steering assist, differential lockout, canopy, LED work lamps, and lift kits. Alternate driver seat positions are also available for low coal seams.
